Steve Garvey was a 1st Round Draft Pick of the Los Angeles Dodgers out of Michigan State University and spent 14 seasons with the club before finishing his career with the San Diego Padres. Garvey was a 10x All-Star selection, 4x Gold Glove Award winner, the 1974 NL MVP and the 1981 Roberto Clemente Award Winner. He was also a member of the 1981 World Series Champion Dodgers and a two-time NLCS MVP. His #6 has been retired by the Padres.
