
Spud Webb
Spud Webb began making an impact on the basketball court at Wilmer-Hutchins High School where he averaged 26 ppg his senior year. From there, he became an NJCAA All-American at Midland College before wrapping up his collegiate careet at NC State. Webb was drafted in the 1985 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons and is best known for winning the 1986 NBA Slam Dunk Contest despite his listed height of five feet six inches.
