Omar Vizquel is widely considered one of baseball's all-time best fielding shortstops, winning 11 Gold Glove Awards during his 24-year Major League career. Vizquel finished his career with 2,877 hits, enough for third-most all-time by a shortstop, and is a member of the Cleveland Indians Hall of Fame.
