Jim Kaat was signed by the Washington Senators in 1957 and went on to have a 25 year Major League career that spanned four decades. Kaat was a 16x Gold Glove award winner, 3x All-Star, the American League wins and complete games leader in 1966, and a 1982 World Series champion. He finished his career with 283 wins and 2,461 strikeouts and is a member of the Minnesota Twins Hall of Fame.
